Small Animal Imaging System Design Project

SH2J collaborated with Vieworks on the product design of Visque Smart, an advanced imaging device used for preclinical drug development and efficacy analysis using small animal models. 

Designed with user convenience in mind, Visque Smart features precise camera lens control and various functional options to support efficient operation. Breaking away from the cold, sterile look of conventional lab equipment, it adopts a soft, modern aesthetic that creates a more welcoming and calm environment.

Its compact footprint allows for efficient placement even in tight lab or veterinary clinic spaces. 

The internal structure is engineered to maximize the accuracy of sensors and analysis components, while the intuitive user interface includes status indicators and alert systems that provide real-time operational feedback. A low-noise, low-vibration design ensures a stress-free environment for animals, and vibration damping helps improve the precision of experiments and diagnostics. 

Visque Smart was launched in South Korea in 2017 and continues to be widely used in biomedical research and animal care facilities.
