Food Container Design Project

SH2J collaborated with CJ on the Metier Sauce container design project. 

The Metier sauce bottle was created to hold premium sauces crafted with the care and precision of a chef’s touch. The design reflects a harmonious balance between functionality and brand identity. ‘Metier’ is a French word meaning “craft” or “artisan’s work,” and the concept of expertise and dedication is clearly expressed throughout the container’s design. 

The overall silhouette is slim yet sturdy, with thoughtful details that enhance usability without compromising on aesthetic appeal. The bottle’s simple and intuitive cylindrical shape offers a comfortable grip in kitchen settings, while delivering a clean and sophisticated visual impression. 

Although made of plastic, the container features a luxurious matte gold finish, effectively conveying a premium feel. At the same time, its lightweight and shatter-resistant material ensures practical usability in everyday situations. 

Metier Sauce was launched in Korea in 2018, and the seamless integration of identity and design has helped elevate the brand’s value and presence in the market.
