Area Camera Design Project 

SH2J collaborated with Vieworks on the industrial design of an advanced Area Camera. 

Utilizing pixel-shifting technology, the camera overcomes the physical limitations of sensors to deliver ultra-high-resolution imaging—an essential capability in precision-driven industrial and scientific applications. To establish a strong and recognizable brand identity for Vieworks, SH2J applied a minimalist form language with a solid, textured finish, emphasizing both functionality and visual clarity. 

In addition, the Vieworks corporate identity (CI) color was incorporated as a design accent. This colored component not only reinforces the brand image, but also serves a functional role by helping to dissipate heat from the internal image sensor. 

The Area Camera was launched globally in 2014, and has since been adopted across various industries for its technical precision and refined design.
